Nortide Logistics
Nortide Logistics is a self-initiated concept project — an invented Barcelona logistics SME made by the studio to demonstrate its approach to a marketing site rebuild. It was not commissioned by a real business.
01 — Challenge
- A logistics SME’s site was a 2016-era template — slow, off-brand, and structured around nothing a prospective client actually needed to decide whether to enquire.
- The business itself was performing well; the site was actively working against that, undermining credibility with exactly the larger clients the business was trying to win.
- The brief needed the new site to be judged almost entirely on one thing: would a logistics buyer actually enquire from it, not on aesthetic ambition.
02 — Approach
Survey meant reading the old site’s analytics-shaped gaps (in this concept, inferred from a realistic logistics-buyer journey) and three competitor sites, to find the actual questions a freight or warehousing client needs answered before enquiring — capacity, coverage area, response time. Found locked the information architecture around those questions rather than around the company’s own org chart, which is the mistake the old site had made. Build was mobile-first from the first sketch, since a logistics buyer is often checking a site from a phone in a warehouse, not a desk — every page was structured so the enquiry form is reachable within one scroll on mobile. Finish included the SEO structure this kind of B2B site depends on almost entirely to be found at all, plus a straightforward CMS handover so the operations team could update service-area copy themselves.
03 — Gallery
Browser-chrome device frame containing abstract colour-block placeholders in --tint-wd (terracotta), representing the homepage, a service page and the enquiry-form section at three viewport widths.
04 — Outcome
- An information architecture built around a buyer’s actual questions (capacity, coverage, response time), not the org chart the old site had been structured around.
- A mobile-first build reachable to the enquiry form within one scroll — designed for a buyer checking from a warehouse floor, not assuming a desk.
- An SEO structure and a CMS handover simple enough for an operations team with no in-house developer to maintain without the studio in the room.
