Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Deposits & when they're refundable
The 30% booking deposit is refundable in full if you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled kickoff call. Cancellations within 24 hours of the kickoff call are subject to a 50% cancellation fee on the deposit, to cover the studio slot held for you.
2. Cancelling after the Survey stage has started
Once the kickoff call has happened and the Survey stage is underway, completed work is non-refundable. If you cancel mid-project, you're invoiced for the stage(s) completed at the time of cancellation, and ownership of that completed work is confirmed to you in writing — you don't pay for work you don't receive.
3. Monthly & recurring packages
Design Partner and Content Pack are billed monthly. You can cancel with 30 days' notice; the current month, once started, is not refunded. Cancelling stops future renewals — it doesn't retroactively refund a month already underway.
4. Right of withdrawal (EU 14-day)
If you are a consumer under EU law (acting outside a trade, business or profession), you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a distance contract. Because our packages are personalised design services delivered on a schedule you agree to at checkout, work typically begins at your express request before the 14 days elapse — by confirming your kickoff date at checkout, you acknowledge that work begins on that date and that your right of withdrawal is limited to the proportion of the service not yet performed, in line with Art. 103(a) and Art. 108 of Spain's consumer protection law (Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007). If you're ordering as a business, the statutory 14-day consumer withdrawal right does not apply; the deposit terms in §1 above govern your cancellation instead.
5. How to request a cancellation or refund
Email support@designfounding.com with your order reference (from your confirmation email) and the reason for cancellation. We'll confirm the applicable refund amount in writing within 2 business days.
6. Timeframe for refunds
Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 14 days of confirmation.
