designfounding is a boutique design studio based in Barcelona, working across six disciplines for founders and small businesses who want to scope and budget a project before they ever pick up the phone. We're a new studio — we don't have a decade of client logos to show you, so instead we show you exactly how we work: a named method, published prices, and a full inclusions list on every package. 01 — Principles

Price before conversation. If we can't publish a fair price for it, we don't sell it as a package.

The same four stages, every discipline. Survey → Found → Build → Finish isn't relabelled per service — it's the actual order the work happens in.

Exclusions matter as much as inclusions. Every package says what it doesn't cover, so nobody buys the wrong tier by accident.

You own what you pay for. Source files, on handover, no licensing string attached.

New, and honest about it. We'd rather you judge a documented process than a client list we don't have yet.
The method
Survey (Sondeo)
Before we design anything, we read the ground: your brief, your competitive field, your audience, and the real constraints — budget, timeline, whatever brand assets already exist. We ask the questions that feel obvious in hindsight and rarely get asked out loud. This stage exists to stop us, and you, from building on an assumption.
Found (Fundamento)
This is the studio's namesake stage. We lay the load-bearing decision — positioning, naming, the core idea, the information architecture, the design system's rules, whatever that discipline everything else will rest on. It's invisible in the final deliverable, which is exactly why it's the stage most studios skip or rush. We don't.
Build (Construcción)
We construct the visible structure on top of the foundation: the identity system, the site, the flows, the print pieces, the motion content. This is the stage with the most client review checkpoints, and it’s where the revision rounds published on your package get used.
Finish (Acabado)
Nothing in construction is called done at the frame stage. Finish is the finishing trades: refine, document — guidelines, specs, source files — test, and hand off everything you need to run it without us in the room.

The studio works from Sant Martí, Barcelona — a small, hands-on team, not a department. Most of every project happens on a shared screen and a video call, which is also why the same process works identically whether you’re five minutes away or five time zones away.
02 — Common questions
Because you can judge the process instead of a client list we don't have yet. Every price, every timeline and every revision count on this site is something you can hold us to before you pay a deposit — that's a stronger guarantee than a logo wall from a studio that won't tell you what anything costs.
Yes — the whole process runs by video call, shared documents and the same published packages, in English or Spanish. Invoicing and IVA treatment for clients outside Spain is confirmed at checkout based on the VAT/country details you provide.
Yes, by arrangement — the studio is based in Sant Martí, Barcelona. Most projects run entirely on video calls by default since it keeps the published timelines predictable, but an in-person kickoff or review can be scheduled on request.
